Currently engaged in the design and fabrication of site-specific sculpture for Dawley Hamlet local nature reserve, Telford, Shropshire.UK.
Current work Skip has been installed in the sculpture park in the grounds of Canwood gallery, Hereford. UK.
Other works in the landscape include pieces by Angela Conner and established sculptors from the UK.
Skip is a laser cut sculpture which stands nearly six feet high and fabricated from mild steel plate.
The piece lends itself to a landscape setting and pleasantly blends into most outdoor environments as the observer can look through the many shapes cut into the metal.
The work is for sale and enquiries should be made to Canwood gallery or by contacting directly.
A new range of furniture has been designed and developed by Jim which utilises digital fabrication and laser etching processes. All pieces are made from solid Oak and are a reinterpretation of English history and craft that embraces the digital and handmade using new materials and processes.
Outlets for the work are to be published in the press and all pieces will be unique.
